this is a tough question for guys because, whats cool and what works for you personally can sometimes be very different things. so i would suggest that you find a style that you really like and bring a pic or really good idea to someone that you trust or know is really good with hair and work that idea around whats gonna look good on you

For me I like guys with close-cropped hair. Just keep it clean, neat and simple. :) You know, like you're almost bald but not bald? Extremely short hair? It's easy to maintain too.
