The great search for an attractive male hairstyle. help please?

my boyfriend desperately needs to get his hair cut. it's all in his eyes and he can't see, which is sort of vital. he's a runner, so it needs to be fairly short. i've been given the task of choosing a hairstyle. however, the internet is a vast place and i'm having trouble finding much of anything worthwhile. we're looking for something edgy but not flamboyant, and fairly low-maintenance, as he likes to look good, but hates spending a lot of time getting that way.
