I'm not looking for anything trendy. Currently my scalp is blessed with a shag about 2 months overdue for a cut and I'm looking for a new style. You can't beat a long mohawk. I think that's about the sexiest haircut there is for a guy. Just don't do the short overstyled preppy kind. Also, if you keep it pretty long people can hardly even tell that you have a hawk unless you put it up.

My question is, when the hair is being cut, i know that the end parts of the hair you have between your fingers are cut on an angle, but, are there any parts of the hair that should be cut straight? so that the ends all meet in line. Or is it all so they are on an angle? mabye the back or side cut straight?

looks kinda like a regular hair cut left long, if that makes sense? since I didn't see any pix of the back, I'm assuming it's basically like the rest. might be straight at the middle back but looks like it is pretty uniform all around. just trim the perimeter and then do the layers, preferably with a guide section from the center top to the center back. umm I'm an asian and my hair is a wavy type... well I want to look cute around girls but I really find trouble looking up for a new hairstyle. I mostly see around me are hairstyles for straight hairs and it really troubles me. I have no time to straighten (or w/e you call it) my hair. Dont dye it black. I used to love getting my hair dyed, and you will think it wont happen to you but eventually keep dying your hair will be very bad..


The colour you were given was the one that suits you best, I found that out for myself ^^





If you really must change your hair colour just have a couple streaks of blonde, darker brown or black with your normal colour. That idea looks better than all your hair being unnatural colours.





I had hair very similar to yours back when it was abit shorter, maybe grow the spikes out abit more, go for long sides like past jaw and have a side fringe on your cheek bone, just an idea..

I always worry about my hair and I really want a masculine style, but everything seems to be running against me. I have a really high hairline, which means that unless I have bangs I never look right. Asian Male Hairstyle Help!?

To start things of, yes Im asian, and a male,


unfortunately not all asians are lucky enough to have dead straight hair.


Mine is technicly straight (not dead straight), and VERY thick, at medium-long length the bangs tend to curve sideways, and humidity makes it curls abit [very annoying, but moisturisers often do the trick] :/


i've tried hair relaxing but not considering it since it burns a hole through my wallet.


and i dont really have time to flat-iron my hair in the mornings since i start school at 7.15AM!!





At my usual, my hair just sports the typical layered bangs.


(my stylists ALWAYS layers my bangs, on non-dead-straight hair, this looks plain messy)





But my hair is always at its best at short length, because it just looks very straight sporting faux mohawks and stuff that requires every-morning wax.[my very thick hair results in very good layers thus great stylings]. I often let my hair grow longer because I just dont like wax on my hair and i dont realy like faux mohawks. [or any other short styles]





I really really really want to keep my hair at its medium-length without much maintenance.


I've always wanted to try the soft assymmerical cuts, but im not sure if the bangs would work on my type of hair. :/

I'm having a hard time picturing what you're wanting, but the best thing you could do before getting your hair cut is to look through a bunch of celebrity magazines and find a few of what you like. Take them to the hairdresser and show them to her. Let her know your hair tends to curl and some concerns you have. They do a much better job if they can see what you want rather than tell them. And remember, it's just hair, it'll always grow back. AND because you're a guy, if it looks bad, just buzz it lol.

just get a trim.... and use a gel in the morning. Just run it through your hair from the roots to the tips :) Keep your hair long though.... Skater hair looks best on most guys.

ok so, im a teenager with extremely thick brownish blonde hair. i have to get it FREQUENTLY thinned out to not make it look like i have a large tumor for a head. So I've been letting my hair grow out recently in hopes of being able to do something with it, and it's finally about time to cut it. I've got a decently large cowlick right in the center of my front hairline, so it makes a lot of styles tough to pull off. With that being said, any suggestions for the new cut?Male Hairstyle Trouble?
Well depending on the length there are a few thing you could do.





Longer hair is becoming more popular lately, and the 70's feathered hair style is actually making a comeback at the moment (though not really long hair, maybe just a little past your ears.) This kind of haircut is easy to manage and looks good in a hat too.





Medium length is neither here nor there, I would let it grow out longer or just cut it shorter. Just cut the hair around the ears and neck short so you get a layered affect and you are good to go. You can part it on the side or the middle and add some moose for a special event. Some people pull this off very well, but not all. If you want longer hair just try it out and see the reactions that you get.





Short hair is always in style as the crisp clean look. With a litte length you can style it into a contemporary unkempt look with gel or tight neat combed look for that dramatic model look. Great for getting those artsy chicks.





Short hair, an inch or less is pretty self explanetory. Add gel and let dry. Go marines! Hoo Ha!

Try messing with your hair and experimenting until you find something that intrigues you. That's what I usually do--and I tend to cut my hair myself. I get a lot of compliments on it, so I suppose I do pretty well with it (although there have been some odd cuts that I had to grow out).

Go to a professional stylist, dont be scared to go into a salon. get like an uneven cut bangs.. kinda punk rock.. short one side and gradually gettin longer but choppy.. and let the rest of ur hair be shorter than the bangs. tell him/her to make ur hair textured and make the back able to spike.. u should also use a str8ner and paste... :D GOOD LUCK

I think a spiked look would be best on you. Tip: Male barbers and hairstylists are much better at getting that look for you than female stylists are . I'm including a pic of kinda what I suggest.

Let it grow, longer styles are making a comeback. Your face is full so a shaved head would make you look like a potato head. You would look great with a cool style down around your shoulders.

a good effortless look that i do is when i get out of the shower i shake my head back and forth and if i like the way it looks i use any kind of hair spray to make sure it holds and don't put a lot or it will just flatten

My hair is wavy, thick and dry. When i try to grow it long, it just gets poofy, I have a front right cowlick that makes my hair kinda stick up when its medium length. and im not too fond of the shape of my head when its short.

If you want a style, go to a stylist, not the barber. Yes, there is a difference!!


If your hair is poofy, your getting a bad haircut. Find someone that is good with thick wavy men's hair. Not all stylists are created equal, just as not all hair is created equal. I kinda like the pic u have on here..........it just needs a little style.


When you go in, take pictures of what you like, and offer up what you dont like. Communication is key.


Finding a good stylist is tough. I know.

It's very decent length, preferable if it's on the shorter side ;)

As you can tell, it consists of shaving the outer sides to a very small length and creating a double sided mohawk look.





I remember there was a guy in my class that I never even noticed really ha-ha but one day he walked in with this hairstyle and I was well.. taken away. Hope it works out for you :D
